The everlasting joy

Is in the past

The sweet memories we created

Have now faded

After some severe flashbacks

I became the embodiment of horror, pain, and sorrow

So much so that my soul has become hollow

As our minds were boggled by trauma

And hands sullied by the blood of the fallen

I became lost in what was right and wrong

As I fought for my loved ones freedom

I've said and done some things that made me lose respect

Horrible things that I regret while fighting for freedom

It made me drift away from the ones always by my side

But I could never bear them the truth of my sins

I laid waste to lands and let no one else survive

As my kind was subjected to hatred

We were treated like demons living in a complete hell

So I fought until they no longer denied our freedom
